On May 7, 2024, as part of the Jean Monnet South and East European Competition Law Center of Excellence and the Croatian Competition Law and Policy Association, and on the occasion of Europe Day at the Faculty of Law in Osijek, the Online Competition Law Day on Public and Private Enforcement in Bid-Rigging Cases in the EU and SEE was held. This event is in a series of numerous activities within the framework of the Jean Monnet South and East European Competition Law Center of Excellence and the Croatian Competition Law, led by Professor Dubravka Ak\u0161amovi\u0107, PhD, from the Faculty of Law in Osijek. In the first panel, leading experts from Italy, Croatia, and Serbia had the opportunity to acquaint participants with the most important cases of bid rigging in the law and practice of the EU and countries from southern and eastern Europe (speakers: Renato Ferrandi, International and EU Affairs Italian Competition Authority, Italy: Fighting bid rigging in public procurement; Nikola Ilic, Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, Serbia: Bidding consortia: When does cooperation become collusion?; Vlatka Butorac Malnar, Faculty of Law, University of Rijeka, Croatia: Private Enforcement in Bid- Rigging Cases in the European Union).
