Social work students have visited "UGSO" - Udrugu glusoslijepih osoba Grada Osijeka i Osječko-baranjske županije (Non-government organization for people with sensory impairments in City of Osijek and Osijek-Baranja County)

Our hosts Arijana Lekić (executive manager), Vesna Baša (member and volunteer) and Blaženka Lončar (member and volunteer) presented their activities, the basics of manual alphabet and sign language.

During the workshops, students had an opportunity to be a person with sensory impairments for a short time, try different approaches in communication, use different devices that people with sensory impairments use in their everyday life.
