The cornersone of legal unification in general, but specifialy in EU in the last few decades lies with the "free cirulation of a judgemets". As legal rights more often need to be enforced outside the jurisdiction that has issued a judgement it occured that unification of rules of international civil procuedure is the most acceptable response. 

The course would be based on general legal theory and problems inherent to International and European Civil Procedure. The course would specificaly focus to deal with the most recent developments on EU legislative and case law level.
