Within the international project titled Deepening University Cooperation Osijek-Pécs (DUNICOP), on the 4th  and 5th  October 2013, international interdisciplinary conference for doctoral candidates ‘’Aspects of local and regional  development”  was organised.

At the conference, 27 PhD students from Croatia and from abroad presented results of their research activities, which were themat- ically related to regional development, and on the second day of the conference, a compe- tition for the best poster presentation was organised.

The conference was held in English language, which was also the language of publication in the conference proceedings with international reviewers.
