Croatian encyclopedia, new large general Encyclopedia published by Lexicographic Institute, is his fundamental issue and one of the central, permanent programs of national culture. Started in 1999, the fifth such venture in the Croatian language, after the Croatian encyclopaedia M. Ujević, Encyclopaedia of Lexicographic Institute and the two editions of General encyclopedia, which inherits the lexicographical reliability and basic experience, updated and expanded uninhibited processed contents of the Croatian national heritage and modernity. |

The Encyclopædia Britannica, published by Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc., is a general knowledge English-language encyclopaedia. It is written by about 100 full-time editors and more than 4,000 contributors, who have included 110 Nobel Prize winners and five American presidents. In 2012 it was announced that the 2010 edition—the 15th, spanning 32 volumes and 32,640 pages—would be the last printed edition, with digital content and distribution continuing after that. |

The project Who is Who in Croatian Science is the attempt to collect, at one place, the information about Croatian scientists. This e-project of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport intends to promote Croatian scientists in Croatia and abroad, and to foster the communication and information exchange among the scientists themselves. |
