Europeana

Europeana.eu is an internet portal that acts as an interface to millions of books, paintings, films, museum objects and archival records that have been digitised throughout Europe. More than 2,000 institutions across Europe have contributed to Europeana. These range from major international names like theRijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the British Library and the Louvre to regional archives and local museums from every member of theEuropean Union. Together, their assembled collections let users explore Europe's cultural and scientific heritage from prehistory to the modern day.

OpenAIRE


OpenAIRE aims to support the implementation of Open Access in Europe. It provides the means to promote  and realize the widespread adoption of the Open Access Policy, as set out by the ERC Scientific Council Guidelines for Open Access and the Open Access pilot launched by the European Commission OpenAIRE, a three-year project, will establish the infrastructure for researchers to support them in complying with the EC OA pilot and the ERC Guidelines on Open Access.

The World Digital Library


The World Digital Library (WDL) is a project of the U.S. Library of Congress, carried out with the support of the United Nations Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (UNESCO), and in cooperation with libraries, archives, museums, educational institutions, and international organizations from around the world. The WDL makes available on the Internet, free of charge and in multilingual format, significant primary materials from all countries and cultures.

Zenodo builds and operates a simple and innovative service that enables researchers, scientists, EU projects and institutions to share, preserve and showcase multidisciplinary research results (data and publications) that are not part of the existing institutional or subject-based repositories of the research communities.

Aggregator of Croatian  repositories and archives



Aggregator of Croatian  repositories and archives (ARA) on a single website aggregates metadata from all Croatian repositories  with implemented support for OAI-PMH. With increase of the number of open access repositories (institutional repositories, journals, proceedings from conferences, archive Web-seat) there was a need for such a system.

OpenDOAR - The Directory of Open Access Repositories

OpenDOAR is an authoritative directory of academic open access repositories. Each OpenDOAR repository has been visited by project staff to check the information that is recorded here. This in-depth approach does not rely on automated analysis and gives a quality-controlled list of repositories.

Social Science Research Network

Social Science Research Network (SSRN) is a world wide collaborative of over 288,700 authors and more than 1.7 million users that is devoted to the rapid worldwide dissemination of social science research. Founded in 1994, it is composed of a number of specialized research networks in each of the social sciences. Each of SSRN's networks encourages the early distribution of research results by reviewing and distributing submitted abstracts and full text papers from scholars around the world.
