Narodne novine (Official Gazette)

Narodne novine the official newspaper of the Republic of Croatia, available in electronic form. The successor of the newspaper Novine Horvatzke, who along with weekly literary attachment Danica Horvatzka, Slavonska i Dalmatinska started Ljudevit Gaj 6th December 1835. For political reasons many times they changed the title.

Digitalni informacijsko-dokumentacijski ured (Digital Information-Documentation Office)

Digital Information-Documentation Office provides availability of public official documents (international treaties, legislation, documents and publications of public authorities) and information of Republic of Croatia  to inform and re-use. The availability of the documentation provided is permanent, unlimited and free on the portal of the Office. With his work office offering transparency in the work of public authorities and provides greater possibility of informing for all citizens.

Središnji državni portal (Central State portal)

 

In order to facilitate access to information of executive authority, was established a central Internet solution for information - Central State portal. The goal is in one place, clearly, simply and modern present structure, function and role of all government bodies.

 Vlada Republike Hrvatske (Croatian Government)

  

Croatian Government performs executive power in accordance with the Constitution and law. Croatian Government proposes laws and other acts to the Croatian Parliament, proposes the state budget and final account, implements laws and other decisions of the Croatian Parliament, passes regulations for the implementation of laws, conducts foreign and internal politics, directs and supervises the work of the state administration, works on the economic development of country, directs the operation and development of public services, performs other duties specified by the Constitution and law.

Hrvatski Sabor (Croatian Parliament)

 

Croatian Parliament is a representative body of citizens and the legislative body of the Republic of Croatia. There are at least 100 and no more than 160 members, on the basis of universal and equal electoral right, directly elected by secret vote. Members of the Croatian Parliament, elected for a term of four years, have no binding mandate and they have immunity.

Visoki upravni sud Republike Hrvatske (The High Administrative Court of the Republic of Croatia)

  

The Administrative Court, as an independent republic Court, established on 1 July 1977. Until then, the judicial review of final individual administrative acts was provided under the Administrative Department of the Croatian Supreme Court. On the Croatian territory has a long tradition of administrative justice for the very beginnings of administrative justice in the Republic of Croatia date back to the second half of the 19th century.

Vrhovni sud Republike Hrvatske (Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia)

 

The judicial authority is autonomous and independent. Courts judge on the basis of the Constitution and the law. Courts also rule based on international agreements that are part of the Croatian legal order. In Croatia, judicial power is exercised by misdemeanor courts, municipal courts, county courts, commercial courts, administrative courts, High Misdemeanour Court of the Republic of Croatian, the High Commercial Court of the Republic of Croatian, the High Administrative Court of the Republic of Croatian and the Croatian Supreme Court.

 Ustavni sud Republik Hrvatske (The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Croatia)

Constitutional judicature was introduced in the Republic of Croatia in 1963 and the Constitutional Court began to work in 1964.Constitutional judicature in the Republic of Croatia is divided in two historical periods: constitutional judicature in the former Socialist Republic of Croatia (hereinafter: SR Croatia) from 1963 to 1990 - the period when Croatia was one of the six federal units (republics) of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (hereinafter: former SFRY); constitutional judicature in the Republic of Croatia after 1990 - the period after the Republic of Croatia gained independence and sovereignty.

Visoki trgovački sud (High Commercial Court)

From 27th September 1954, when the Law on Commercial Courts entered into force  and when former Republican state arbitration has become the Higher Commercial Court of the Croatia who took over pending issues from Republican state arbitration, it's been 50 years. During this period in the work of the court, but also in the Republic of Croatia, had happened great changes. Only the location or the building in which the court is located, has been amended four times.
