The Round table on Resolving Cross-Border Disputes

The Round table on Resolving Cross-Border Disputes in the Age of Modern Information and Communication Technology was held online on 31 May 2021. The event was initiated by the prof. Mirela Župan and held in the organisation of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

The event boosted a scientific discussion on digitization theories, international and European standards of digitization in cross-border dispute settlement along with its practical application, impact of artificial intelligence, usage or modern technologies in various dispute settlement areas (international contracts, consumer, family) as well as taking evidence and managing arbitration procedure. Introductory key note was held by Hrvoje Grubišić, secretary of EJN.

Among a number of prominent speakers: prof. Ivana Kunda, prof. Ines Medić, prof. Davor Babić, are the DIGinLaw team members: dr. Patricia Živković, prof. Paula Poretti, and prof. Mirela Župan.
