Call for Participation
The Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes within the Erasmus+ Program Key Activity 2 – Innovation Cooperation and Exchange of Good Practice has approved the financing of the two-year project “Time to Become Digital in Law (DIGinLaw)”.
The coordinator of the project is the J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek, Faculty of Law Osijek, and the partners are The University Court of the University of Aberdeen (United Kingdom), Universita degli Studi di Milano (Italy) and the University of Zagreb – University Computing Center (SRCE) (Croatia).
The duration of the Project is from 1stApril 2021 to 31st March 2023. The DIGinLaw project is led by a consortium of higher education institutions aware of how strongly digitization affects society, science and knowledge transfer. Using the advantages of modern technologies, DIGinLaw raises awareness of digital requirements in higher education in the field of law and encourages the creation of digital literacy and digital competences needed in the labor market, which contributes to the free migration of highly educated workers and the creation of an open and inclusive society of legal knowledge and open access to science that deals with the effects of digitization on law and legal education.
The project partners want to present the results of the Project so far and open a discussion with education stakeholders (at all levels), as well as the public and non-governmental sector and potential employers about the possibilities and potential of using digital technology in HE, adult education (lifelong education), i.e. in formal and informal education.
We invite you to join us on 30th November 2022, starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Faculty of Law Osijek (S. Radića 13, Osijek, Croatia), Vijećnica (1st floor), and share with the other participants your experiences of using digital technologies in education, the development of digital competence of teachers and other related issues.
There is no registration fee for participating in the event, but participant registration is mandatory.
