The chair of civil law civil procedure and family law is one of the largest departments at the Faculty of Law Osijek.

The chair was formed by merging previously three distinctive legal departments into one unit which was necessary due to the chages in the University's statutory framework. 

Besides teaching compulsory courses such as the The Law of Civil Procedure, Family Law, The Law of Enforcement, Civil Law and other related courses the members of the department offer courses in English for incoming students participating the Erasmus exchange progamme.
