Anna Wysocka-Bar

Anna is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Law, Jagiellonian University in Kraków (Poland). Anna has carried out her research in private international law at the Max Planck Institute in Hamburg, Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne, Heidelberg University and Erasmus University Rotterdam. Anna has published a monograph on party autonomy in international successions (in Polish) and (together with Ewa Kamarad) Private International Law in Poland, Wolters Kluwer 2020. Anna is an active member of the European Association of Private International Law (EAPIL). She has given guest lectures in many different institutions - in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey, China, Jordan and Egypt. She was a visiting professor at Università degli Studi di Parma. Anna is a licensed attorney at law and a licensed tax advisor with years of experience in tax and legal consulting.

Ewa Kamarad

Ewa Kamarad is assistant professor at the Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University. She obtained a PhD in Legal Science in 2014, MA in Law in 2010 and MA in European studies in 2009. Her research interests include private international law, family law, public international law and EU law. She was a scholarship holder of the Max Planck Society (2019). She completed research internships in Hamburg (Max Planck Institute, 2019), Luxembourg (Max Planck Institute, 2019), and Florence (European University Institute, 2010).
