Cristina González Beilfuss

Dr. Cristina Gonzalez Beilfuss is a Law Professor (Catedrática) in Private International Law at the University of Barcelona. She has carried out research in Private International Law, Comparative Law and Family Law. She is a Member of the Expert Group on Parentage (surrogacy) and Family Agreements at the Hague Conference on Private international law, Member of the Expert Group on Parenthood set up by the European Commission, Member of the Organizing Committee of the Commission on European family Law, CEFL, (since 2003), Member of the Board of Trustees at the Academy for European Law, ERA (since 2018). She also held the position of Head of External and International Relations at the Spanish Judicial School from 2011 to 2017.

Beatriz Añoveros Terrradas

Dr. Beatriz Añoveros Terradas is a Law Professor (Catedrática) in Private International Law at the University of Barcelona. She has been the Principal Researcher in numerus projects, such as Pax 2.0 Project. Private International Law in motion (2022-2024); Pax Project. Private International Law in motion (2020-2022); Jean Monnet Module European Private International Law (2019-2021), Limiting the limits of contractual party autonomy (2015-2016), Contratación interna y contratación transfronteriza: problemas y alternativas en la Unión Europea (2015-2016), among others. She was also part of the research team on the Jean Monnet Chair – Law Faculty ESADE (2014-2018). She is widely published and a frequent speaker at congresses, seminars and conferences.

Mónica Navarro-Michel

Dr. Monica Navarro-Michel is an Associate Professor of Private Law at the University of Barcelona. She was Vice Dean of Research and International Relations (2008 – 2016), and a visiting professor at Universidade do Porto (2018 and 2022) and KU Leuven - Belgium (2014-2017), among others. She has also been a team Member of multiple projects, such as: New developments on self-determination at both personal and family levels: from status to self-regulation (2022-2025); The Oviedo Convention turns 20: proposals for its adaptation to the new social and scientific reality (2018-2021), and Jean Monnet Chair on EU Private Law (2015-2022). She is a Member of the Observatory of Bioethics and Law (UB), the Research Institute Transjus (UB) and the European Law Institute.
