Course learning outcomes

, 1. After passing the course, students are expected to be able to: 1. define and explain basic terms in public administration 2. recognize the role of administration in society, which is determined by general social development, 3. understand the role of citizens in administration, 4. explain the tendency of administrative organizations to grow, the tendency towards differentiation (disaggregation) administrative organizations, tendency towards professionalization of administration, tendency towards limitation coercion in administration and the tendency towards computerization of administration, 5. evaluate the role of people in the administration (administrative officers in administrative organizations, political officials in the administration, official system, salary system in the administration, promotion system in the administration), 6. clarify the concept of material assets, their form and regime of disposal, 7. define the function of leadership in administrative organizations, public management, leadership tasks in administrative organizations, task lists of managers, management and leadership in administrative organizations, 8. clarify the filling of administrative organizations with managerial staff, 9. analyze the development of public administration in Croatia and public administration reforms, 10. to support the acquired theoretical knowledge with examples from practice, etc.,
