Introduction The development of consumer protection at EU level (from national proceedings towards harmonisation – directives in the field of consumer protection) Legislative framework (Rome, Maastricht, Amsterdam, Nice, Lisbon, (TFEU)) ECtHR/CJEU Access to justice – individual request/preliminary ruling procedure (right to fair trial, Art 6 ECHR/ Art 47 Charter) Judicial cooperation in civil matters EU policy in the field of consumer protection (structure and measures, judicial cooperation) Jurisdiction in consumer disputes (Brussels I bis recast; ESCP; EPO) Enforcement (execution; provisional measures) (Regulation Brussels I recast; EEO; EAPO |
