Course content |
Introduction. Health impairment and death. Mechanical injuries. Skull and brain injuries. Vital reactions and some general consequences of mechanical trauma. Asphyxial injuries. Physical injuries. Nutritional injuries. Psychological injuries. Bacterial injuries. Toxicology. Thanatology. Scientific disciplines dealing with criminal offenses and offenders. Expert witnesses and forensic expertise under the Criminal Procedure Act. Assessment of the severity of bodily injury. Pregnancy. Unlawful termination of pregnancy. Infanticide. Criminal offenses against sexual freedom and morality. Criminal liability of physicians. Fundamentals of medical criminalistics. Suicide. Homicide. Expert evaluation in traffic accidents. Selected issues in medical ethics. |
