COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course content

Conceptualization of research problems; literature review; evaluation of research design; sampling; selection of measurement instruments; data collection; interpretation of data analysis; and ethical considerations in conducting research with human subjects.

Course learning outcomes

evaluate and use existing research to formulate and conceptualize practice-based research questions, operationalize relevant variables and select suitable measurement instruments for hypothesis testing, plan appropriate sampling and data collection strategies and develop a plan for data analysis, apply research methodology and critically analyze, summarize and use data, conduct research or projects as a responsible and ethical professional, taking into account and respecting different sources of diversity (e.g. gender, class, ethnicity/race), communicate effectively and disseminate information in a way that is relevant to the field and the target audience,
