The course is aimed at social workers as professional associates in courts and state attorney's offices, and as employees in probation offices, social welfare centers and institutions and support services for victims and witnesses, participate in various ways in criminal and misdemeanor proceedings, as well as the execution of criminal sanctions. The main goal of the course is to provide students with insight into specific legal and procedural situations in which they may find themselves as social workers, and to acquaint them with their role and tasks. By attending this course, students will be able to: 1. Protection of victims and witnesses in criminal proceedings 2. Procedural position of the child in criminal proceedings 3.
