COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course content

What constitutes European company law, concept and definition - development of European company law - content of European company law - regulations and directives as the instruments for achieving the harmonization of the laws of EU member states – the impact of European company law on Croatian legal order - the relevant jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the EU and Croatian judicial authorities.

Course learning outcomes

The analysis and comparison of the most significant cases that have appeared before the Court of Justice of the EU. , Students will be able to give an interpretation the most significant decisions of the EU Court in relation to the freedom of establishment and freedom to provide services within the EU. , Students will be able to explain the reach of the uniform rules regarding the EU company in relation to some specific national cases and legislative solutions. ,
