Seminar classes from the Basics of Labor and Social Law course will be held according to the schedule and according to the instructions of the subject teacher. The seminar paper represents a professional treatment of the matirial that is the subject of study within the framework of the Bases of Labor and Social Law course at the Faculty of Law in Osijek and aims to deepen knowledge in the chosen field of research. Seminar papers are the best introduction to potential later research, diploma paper or scientific work, and inter alia serves to identify students who have interest, potential, and capacity for scientific research. The topic of the paper can represent a theoretical elaboration of a certain problem, a practical investigation of a phenomenon, or an analysis of a case from practice. The chosen topic of the seminar activity can cover any topic from the regular course program, but also any other topic that meaningfully enters the field of the Basis of Labor and Social law in the broadest sense of the word (international labor law, European labor law, European social security law, patients' rights, social cohesion, international labor law standards, economic and social rights as human rights, etc.). The selection of topics that require interdisciplinary knowledge and approach will be especially appreciated and encouraged. The subject of the seminar work is proposed by the student from the field that is the subject of their interest, which is why they chose to attend the subject seminar. It is suggested that when choosing a topic, the participants are guided by the criteria of topicality and relevance of the topic for the course and the availability of relevant material. The topics and literature contained in the Syllabus represent only a basic guideline for writing a seminar paper and are intended to refer to relevant sources and authors. The use of foreign sources in written and electronic form is desirable and welcome. Moreover, it will be taken into account when evaluating the work.
