COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course content
Seminar topics are related to topics of lectures. Seminars are written exclusively by assigned books. Topics and bibliography is provided by the professor. The seminar Basics of sociology deals with topics: Emergence and development of modern societies, Development of Social norms,Socialization and family, Social processes and social structure, Media and technology, Position of women in society, Organizations, Bureaucracy, Governance and politics, Migrations, Urbanization.

to define and interpret specifics of sociological approach to social problems, to describe and discern social processes, to connect current social problems with social context, to design and write seminar paper, to distinguish relevant and irrelevant information on topic, to prepare exposition of topic and group discussion,
