| Course content |
Legal German discourse and terminology analysis as regards the texts Das Recht als System von Rechtsnormen, Juristenausbildung und juristische Berufe in Deutschland, Verfassungsrechtliche Grundlagen der Republik Kroatien. The rules of word order in sentences, the position of verbs in main and subordinate clauses, adjective declension and participles functioning as attributes and the formation and use of extended participles. |
| Course learning outcomes |
distinguish legal discourse from general language discourse, apply appropriate legal terminology in spoken and written communication, prove understanding of legal texts by answering questions, translating and retelling, correct application of grammatical and lexical structures typical for the German language of the legal profession as regards the German and Croatian legal systems, education of lawyers and other legal professions in Germany and Croatia, as well as the German and Croatian constitution., independently analyze the legal German text, identify key words and write a summary of the text, |
