| COURSE DESCRIPTION |

| Course content |
1. introducing students to the historical development of company law, commercial law, the sources and mutual relationship between company law and commercial law, as well as the relationships of these branches of law with other branches of law; 2. acquiring knowledge of basic concepts from company law and commercial law, 3. familiarization with the forms of commercial entities in the Republic of Croatia and the most common commercial contracts and commercial transactions entered into by commercial entities; 4. indicating the differences in relation to the advantages and disadvantages of different types/forms of commercial entities in accordance with positive regulations in the Republic of Croatia; 5. acquiring basic knowledge about the types, purpose and method of concluding and terminating commercial contracts and other transactions; 6. differentiation of basic types of securities and ways of their application in practice. |
