COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course content

The goal of a seminar is to provide additional insights on areas of their future profession from sociological viewpoint by continuous reading and weekly tasks. Main goal is that students adopt basic concepts and theories in order to understand and analyze given social issues of individuals, groups and societies. Individual seminars are written only by using literature given by the professor. Topics are given during seminars.

to define and distinguish central sociological concepts and approaches, to apply suitable approach for a given social issue, to distinguish and compare structural(macro) and interactional (micro) aspects of social processes, to recognize relations between wider social changes and positions of different social groups, to critically evaluate discussions on current social issues, to analyze and compare research results, to analyze impact of broader social processes on status of social groups,
