The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the language register in the field of social work and to train them to independently use professional literature in German. Within the course, students adopt and apply professional terminology in speech and writing and master the specifics of German grammar and syntax in the social profession. Course content: - Diplomsozialarbeiter/Sozialpädagoge – Berufsbild und Karrierechancen; - Das Studium der Sozialen Arbeit in Deutschland und in Kroatien - Bildung und Gleichberechtigung, Soziale Funktionen des Bildungssystems - Politik in der Demokratie; Strukturprinzipien des deutschen Staates - Die Verfassungsordnung der Republik Kroatien; The Croatian Parliament - Was sind Menschenrechte?; Europäische Konvention zum Schutz der Menschenrechte und Grundfreiheiten; - Europäische Sozialcharta; - Kinderarmut in Deutschland.
