Course content |
Definition of the concept of counseling, basic models of counseling, prerequisites for conducting counseling, specific skills and techniques of counseling in the preparatory phase of work, specific skills and techniques of counseling in the work phase and skills for completing the counseling process. Recognizing transference, resistance and defense mechanisms during counseling and working on them. Researching problems on a social and emotional level, bringing the user to insight, determining and implementing positive actions and achieving defined goals and separating from the user. Evaluation of counseling process, Supervision in counseling. |

Define counseling approaches, Describe key counseling approaches in working with individuals, partners and families, Determine the role of a helper - advisor, his essential personality characteristics and competence, Apply acquired knowledge, skills and counseling methods in practice, Interpret and apply the stages of counseling as an integral process and explain the specifics and skills of group counseling, Define professional influence and relationships with the person in the helping process, Interpret the completion of the counseling process and its evaluation, Explain what supervision is in counseling, |

Class attendance (70%), pass two written colloquiums or an exam. Attending the exercises is mandatory in full, the condition for taking the exam or colloquiums is that the reports from the exercises are accepted. |
