COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course content
The seminar deals with topics of development and application of sociological thought, development of society and culture, social stratification, deviance, development of society and law, legal and social inequalities with the rest of the topics covered by the class. The attendance is mandatory for full-time students. Seminar is held for the part-time students but in limited scope (hours). Topic and literature for individual seminars are given only by the professor . Individual seminars are written exclusively by using literature given by the professor.
Course learning outcomes
to recognize and analyze central elements of sociological texts, to recognize and compare similar social processes in different social spheres, to distinguish sociological factors from others (economic, psychological, etc.), to recognize basic characteristics of legal system as a social phenomenon , to articulate and discuss topics using sociological concepts, to accept different perspectives and attitudes, to recognize and distinguish personal beliefs from arguments,
