As part of the project “Implementation and Enforcement Challenges of European Law Regarding Selected Institutes in the Croatian Legal System – IPIE” (581- UNIOS-88), the Department of Constitutional and European Law organized a workshop on Referring a Preliminary Ruling to the Court of Justice of the European Union, intended for students interested in acquiring basic knowledge of European law in practice, with special emphasis on the referral of preliminary questions to the Court of Justice of the European Union by national courts.
The workshop was held on Thursday, 7 May 2026, at 11:00 a.m. The workshop was conducted by Full Professor Tunjica Petrašević and Associate Professor Dunja Duić.
The workshop was intended for students interested in gaining fundamental practical knowledge of European law, particularly regarding the referral of preliminary ruling to the Court of Justice of the European Union by national courts. As part of the workshop, students had the opportunity to independently draft a request for a preliminary ruling before the Court of Justice of the European Union and, through practical application, gain a better understanding of European law.
