Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republic), Faculty of Law, Institute of Technology and Law, is hosting a short-term intensive course “Technology Meets Law: Navigating Legal Implications of the Digital Transformation” which will take place from 24 to 29 November 2025.
The participants of the intensive course are doctoral students from law faculties participating in the CEEPUS Law and Technology network from Skopje, Brno, Košice, Pécs and Osijek.
This 6-day intensive course explores the rapidly evolving intersection between law and technology, equipping participants with essential knowledge and skills to navigate the legal challenges of digital transformation. Through interactive lectures, case studies and group activities, students will delve into core topics such as data privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, digital rights, relation of criminal law and AI and ethical considerations of the use of AI.
Each day focuses on a different area, covering regulatory frameworks, ethical considerations and real-world applications. By the end of the course, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of how to approach complex legal issues in a technology-driven world, preparing them to address emerging challenges in both domestic, EU and international contexts.
