As part of the project “Green and Digital Transition in the European Union: Legal and Economic Aspects” (ZEDEU – 581-UNIOS-89), an educational workshop titled “Tax Literacy” was held on April 14, 2026, at the Faculty of Law in Osijek. The workshop was intended for students interested in understanding the fundamental concepts of tax literacy, the role of taxes in public financing, the rights and obligations of taxpayers, and the importance of responsible and informed participation in the tax system.
During the workshop, students had the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge related to the tax system, recognize the importance of tax literacy and the impact of tax behavior in everyday life, understand the role of taxes in financing public needs, and develop a higher level of legal and financial awareness.
The workshop was led by Associate Professor Emina Jerković, PhD.
