As part of the project “Green and Digital Transition in the European Union: Legal and Economic Aspects” (ZEDEU – 581-UNIOS-89), a guest lecture was held on 28 April 2026 in the Council Hall of the Faculty of Law Osijek, during which students had the opportunity to listen to and discuss the challenges of leadership with the Mayor of Osijek, Ivan Radić.

Through an open and dynamic discussion, a number of current topics from the practice of city governance, strategic decision-making and leadership in the public sector were addressed. One of the key topics was the digitalisation of public administration as an essential element of the contemporary development of efficient, transparent and accessible public services.

The students showed exceptional interest and a high level of engagement, asking specific and thoughtful questions, to which the Mayor responded patiently and comprehensively.

We would like to express our gratitude for this inspiring meeting and for the valuable insights that successfully connected theoretical knowledge with practice.
