The objectives of the project Implementation and Enforcement Challenges of the European Law on Selected Institutes in the Croatian Legal System – IPIE are to contribute to the strengthening of the research infrastructure and the competencies of the research team within the scope of the proposed research, as well as to foster the academic and professional development of early-career researchers, scholars, and students involved in the project. The aim of this research is to examine the extent to which the Republic of Croatia complies with its assumed obligations and the degree to which the current national legislation is harmonised with the acquis communautaire of the European Union, convention law, and selected comparative legal systems. Furthermore, the research seeks to identify certain open issues, ambiguities, and gaps arising from practice, as well as instances of insufficient regulation within the existing legislative framework.
Objective and Purpose of the Workshop: The workshop is intended for students interested in acquiring fundamental knowledge of administrative procedural and administrative judicial specificities in selected special administrative proceedings and administrative disputes in the field of environmental law, through the presentation and analysis of concrete cases from practice.
Expected Learning Outcomes: Students will be able to present coherent and well-founded arguments regarding the assigned discussion topics, analyse and correctly interpret specific statutory (procedural) provisions applicable to the relevant special administrative fields and legal institutes, as well as analyse special administrative procedures in the context of resolving administrative matters, issuing administrative acts, and examining selected administrative judicial practice.
We look forward to your active participation and engagement in the discussion, as well as to your acquisition of new knowledge and practical skills.
