Članovi Katedre obiteljskog prava Pravnog fakulteta Osijek – prof. dr. sc. Branka Rešetar, izv. prof. dr. sc. Nataša Lucić i asistent Matko Guštin, mag. iur. sudjelovali su od 12. do 15. srpnja 2023. u Antwerpenu (Belgija) na međunarodnoj znanstvenoj konferenciji „Rethinking Law’s Families & Family Law“.

Ovu 18.-u konferenciju po redu organizira Međunarodno udruženje za obiteljsko pravo (International Society of Family Law), u suorganizaciji s Pravnim fakultetom Sveučilišta u Antwerpenu. Sudionici ove međunarodne konferencije raspravljali su o brojnim temama iz područja obiteljskog prava, pri čemu je poseban naglasak stavljen na suvremen teme i metode koje su (još jednom) ukazale na važnost obitelji kao temeljne jedinice društva. Konferencija je također bila izvrsna prilika za razmjenu iskustava s kolegama iz drugih zemalja.

Članovi Katedre održali su izlaganja s temama:

  • izv. prof. dr. sc. Nataša Lucić – The child’s right to know his or her origins – is there a gap between legislation and legal practice?
  • asistent Matko Guštin, mag. iur. – The position of the child between biological and foster family in the Republic of Croatia.

Members of the Department of Family Law of the Faculty of Law Osijek – Branka Rešetar, Ph.D., Full Professor, Nataša Lucić, Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Matko Guštin, Assistant, LLM, participated in the international scientific conference “Rethinking Law’s Families & Family Law” from 12 to 15 July 2023 in Antwerp (Belgium).

This 18th conference is organized by the International Society of Family Law, this year together with the Faculty of Law of the University of Antwerp. This 18th conference in a row is organized by the International Society of Family Law, in co-organization with the Faculty of Law of the University of Antwerp. The participants of this international conference discussed several topics in the field of family law, with a special emphasis on contemporary topics and methods that (once again) pointed to the importance of the family as the fundamental unit of society. The conference was also an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences with colleagues from other countries.
