The aim of this research is to examine the extent to which the Republic of Croatia complies with its assumed obligations, and to what degree the current national legislation is aligned with the EU acquis, convention law, and selected comparative legal systems; as well as to
highlight certain open issues, uncertainties, and gaps arising from practice, including insufficient regulation within the current legislative framework.

Expected outcomes:
Students will be able to independently draft a request for a preliminary ruling to the Court of Justice of the EU and, through practical application, gain a better understanding of European law.
