Životopis:

Tena Konjević, mag. iur., LL.M., asistentica je na Katedri za radnopravne i socijalne znanosti Pravnog fakulteta u Osijeku, mlađi znanstveni istraživač na Central European Academy u Budimpešti te vanjski suradnik na Zagrebačkoj školi ekonomije i managementa. Također, trenutno djeluje kao hrvatski nacionalni stručnjak za European Trade Union Institute u Bruxellesu u sklopu dva međunarodna znanstvena projekta.

Diplomirala je na Pravnom fakultetu u Osijeku, Sveučilišta Josipa Jurja Strossmayera u Osijeku, s prosjekom 4,98 kao najbolja studentica generacije. Tijekom studija bila je dobitnica više Sveučilišnih i Dekanovih nagrada te Rektorove nagrade za studentski rad, kao i više stipendija Zaklade Zlatko Crnić, uključujući i onu dodijeljenu najboljoj studentici prava u Hrvatskoj. Diplomski rad pod naslovom „Direktiva o restrukturiranju i nesolventnosti: Izazovi implementacije Hrvatske i poredbena iskustva” obranila je prijevremeno pod mentorstvom izv. prof. dr. sc. Lidije Šimunović u travnju 2022. godine.

Trenutno je na posljednjoj godini četverogodišnjeg međunarodnog doktorskog studija „Central European Comparative Law Program” na Deák Ferenc Doctoral School of Law u Mađarskoj. Njezin doktorski rad „Dark Side of Posting of Workers in the EU: Open Problems of Subcontracting, Legal Debates and Solutions”, pod mentorstvom prof. dr. sc. Maria Vinkovića, usmjeren je na zaštitu prava upućenih radnika u lancima podugovaranja u Europskoj uniji, s posebnim naglaskom na mehanizme prevencije eksploatacije i potrebne zakonodavne izmjene. Obrana doktorskog rada zakazana je za listopad 2026. godine, a članovi povjerenstva su prof. mr. Miriam Kullmann (Sveučilište u Utrechtu) i prof. Attila Kun (Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church, Budapest).

Završila je međunarodni poslijediplomski specijalistički studij (LL.M.) iz europskog javnog prava pri European Public Law Organization (EPLO), s radom nagrađenim „Luis Ortega” nagradom za najbolji rad godine, pod mentorstvom prof. dr. A. (Ton) van den Brinka sa Sveučilišta u Utrechtu. U radu je analizirala položaj mobilnih i upućenih radnika u kontekstu slobode kretanja. Također je završila poslijediplomski specijalistički studij (LL.M.) iz ljudskih prava i vladavine prava pri Sveučilištu u Miskolcu, pod mentorstvom prof. dr. habil. Nóre Jakab, gdje je istraživala utjecaj human rights due diligence-a na zaštitu prava radnika.

Autorica je i koautorica više znanstvenih radova i poglavlja u knjigama te aktivna izlagačica na brojnim međunarodnim konferencijama, uključujući LLRN5 i LLRN6. Dobitnica je stipendija International Society for Labour and Social Security Law te CNRS – University of Strasbourg za znanstveni rad i sudjelovanje na seminarima u Veneciji i Strasbourgu.

U studenom 2025. godine nagrađena je priznanjem za najboljeg mladog istraživača u području radnog prava koje dodjeljuje ELTE Sveučilište u Budimpešti.

Članica je uredništva časopisa 'CEA Law Review'.

CV:

Tena Konjević, mag. iur., LL.M., is a Teaching Assistant at the Chair of Labour Law and Social Security Law at the Faculty of Law in Osijek, a Junior Researcher at the Central European Academy in Budapest, and an External Lecturer at the ZSEM. She currently serves as the Croatian national expert for the European Trade Union Institute in Brussels within two international research projects.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law in Osijek, with a GPA of 4.98 as the top student of her generation. During her studies, she received multiple University and Dean’s awards, as well as the Rector’s Award for student research, along with several scholarships from the Zlatko Crnić Foundation, including the one awarded to the best law student in Croatia. She defended her thesis titled “Directive on Restructuring and Insolvency: Challenges of Implementation in Croatia and Comparative Experiences” ahead of schedule under the supervision of Associate Professor Lidija Šimunović, PhD, in April 2022.

She is currently in the final year of the four-year international doctoral programme “Central European Comparative Law Program” at the Deák Ferenc Doctoral School of Law in Hungary. Her doctoral dissertation, “Dark Side of Posting of Workers in the EU: Open Problems of Subcontracting, Legal Debates and Solutions”, under the supervision of Professor Mario Vinković, PhD, focuses on the protection of posted workers’ rights in subcontracting chains within the European Union, with particular emphasis on mechanisms for preventing exploitation and necessary legislative reforms. The defence is scheduled for October 2026, before a committee composed of Professor Miriam Kullmann (Utrecht University) and Professor Attila Kun (Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church, Budapest).

She has completed a postgraduate LL.M. programme in European Public Law at the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), where her thesis received the “Luis Ortega” Prize for the best thesis of the year, under the supervision of Professor A. (Ton) van den Brink, Utrecht University. In this work, she analysed the position of mobile and posted workers in the context of the free movement of workers. She also completed an LL.M. programme in Human Rights and the Rule of Law at the University of Miskolc under the supervision of Professor Nóra Jakab, PhD habil., where she researched the impact of human rights due diligence on the protection of workers’ rights.

She is the author and co-author of several scientific articles and book chapters and is an active presenter at numerous international conferences, including LLRN5 and LLRN6. She has been awarded scholarships from the ISLSSL and CNRS – University of Strasbourg for her scientific work and participation in seminars in Venice and Strasbourg.

In November 2025, she received the award for the best young researcher in the field of labour law granted by ELTE University in Budapest.

She is a member of the editorial board of the journal CEA Law Review.
